Music is a very important part of worship at FLC and is an important part of God’s kingdom. As soon as Samuel anointed David as king, God thrust him into his first ministry: Music (1 Samuel 16:18). David appointed 228 musicians for duty who were "trained and skilled in music for the Lord" (1 Chronicles 25:7). "Sing him a new song: play skillfully, and shout for joy" (Psalm 33:3). That is our goal at First Lutheran.
A team of volunteer musicians and technician engineers regularly lead our Sunday morning worship together. Using vocal, instrumental and technical gifts, these teams seek to serve God and those who attend FLC by facilitating our encounter with God through corporate worship. We are always looking for people who wish to express their gifts and passions by joining the worship team.
