Thank you for your interest in joining the Vocal Worship Team! We hold our vocalists to a high standard and wanted to make you aware of a few things before you fill out the application.
- While there are many great singers out there, we look for people who fit 3 main areas:
- Life—we want people who are in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ and who are seeking a lifestyle of worship.
- Ability—we seek people with excellent vocal ability. As part of this, we ask that people possess the ability to sing harmonies, blend well, and stay on pitch. Please know that there are many good vocalists who audition and do not get invited to join the team because of the very high standard we have.
- Style—we require our vocalists to fit stylistically with the music we do here at First Lutheran.
