There's never a dull moment when kids are around! We serve children ages birth - 5th grade. Many opportunities to join the fun in Children's Ministries are available. First Serve OpportunitiesOpportunities for you to "get your feet wet" and see if Children's Ministry is the place for you! Little or no prep and no commitment! Why not try it?
Easter Egg Hunt
We're getting ready for this big event again this year! Volunteer to help with the hunt itself, decorating, crafts or games. We'd love to have you and we promise it'll be fun!
Small Group Sit-in
Sit in with a group of about 5-7 children through a fun Bible lesson at Kids First on Wednesday nights to see what it's all about. Sunday Opportunities (9:00 or 10:15)Sunday School Teacher
Teach one grade level of children every Sunday or every other Sunday. Teacher-led class time is approximately 30-45 minutes.
Sunday School Assistant
Assist Sunday school teacher in helping children pay attention, answer questions, etc.
Nursery Assistant
Play with children age 0 - 4 years old. Be mindful of their safety. Welcome new children.
Music Leader
Help lead K - 5th graders in large group worship time during Sunday School opening. If you like to sing, play guitar, play keyboard or have mad sing-along action skills, we need you!
Wednesday Kids First! OpportunitiesKids Praise Piano Accompanist
Provide accompaniment for the kids choir during Wednesday night practices and possibly Sunday morning performances. 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Small Group Guide
Guide a small group of 5-8 children through fun Bible lessons and question & answer time. Curriculum & materials provided.
Nursery Assistant
Help provide loving care to little ones while their parents are in small groups or volunteering.

Summer Intern
Seasonal Opportunities Easter Egg Hunt Volunteer (Near Easter)
Set up, tear down, greeting, picture taking, craft station, hiding eggs, Gospel presentation, food, donate candy, etc
Summer Field Trips Chaperone (July and August)
Come and play with children as we go on a fun field trip, help make sure children are present and needs are taken care of.
Musical Theatre Camp (July)
Assist musical directors with four days of practicing and perfecting the children's musical with a great performance at the end.
SportsLife Camp Coach (August)
Lead a small group of children throughout the day, lead Bible studies, chaperone field trips, assist in large group events, etc
Vacation Bible School Volunteer (June)
Shepherd a small group of children throughout the day, lead games, act out the Bible story, lead singing time, run crafts, serve snack, decorate, paint, etc.
Rally Day Volunteer (September)
Greet families and children, show children to their rooms, answer parent questions, register families, help run small carnival games after church, set up, tear down, etc.
Hallelujah Festival Volunteer (Halloween party)
Grab some friends to create a fun booth for children, volunteer to run a booth, set up, tear down, greeting, Trick or Trunk, donate candy, food preparation and serving, etc.
Christmas Pageant Volunteer (December)
One day of practice and learning a Christmas play with a performance at the end. No musical abilities necessary. |
