There's been many times in my life where I've felt like I haven't quite found my 'thing'. I've wanted to contribute in a lot of different areas in my life, especially at church. There was one ministry that always intrigued me, but I never knew if it was really all that important. I was wrong.

 

Stage drama within the church is a ministry that's definitely on the rise! It's a tool that is often overlooked, but not anymore! First Lutheran is jump starting a brand new drama ministry!

 

Jump on board with Plan See! Our plan is to help others through drama and improv get a better view of God's plan.

 

You'll find that often times people come to church for answers. Everyone responds differently to different things. Some people learn by listening, others by seeing.  It's one thing to be told what God wants you to do, it's another thing entirely to see someone go through a situation you might be struggling with, and reach a similar conclusion. Identifying with someone and feeling what they feel can open hearts and minds to things that may have been too far away before. God works through drama! It's so exciting!

 

Now's your chance to get involved! We're inviting volunteers of all ages to join us in this exciting new endeavor. No previous experience required! It'll be a blast! Right now we're focusing on one to two drama skits a month, and drama team meetings every couple of weeks.

 

There's also a drama specific website you can check out for weekly updates and upcoming projects. Meeting times and locations will also be available.
