Mondays-Frolf!

 

Have you ever been Frisbee golfing?  Frolfing (Frisbee+golf=Frolf) is fun free way to get out in the sunshine and have a great time. Come hang with Perry after school from 2:45 to 4:45. Frisbees and rides from school are available just contact Perry.

 

 

Wednesdays-Impact

 

Impact is an exciting weekly gathering of senior high students that evolves each year to reach the hearts, minds, and lives of students in new an exciting ways.  With the consistent and effective components of passionate worship, biblical teaching, and honest small groups Impact will dive into a new and relevant topics.  Come and check it out on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The last Impact for this school year is May 14.

 

Thursdays-Game Time

 

Love hanging and playing board games?  Come hang with Perry after school from 2:45-4:45. Risk, Axis Allies, and Trains are typically the favorite games played.  Rides from school are available just contact Perry beforehand.

 

 

 

May 18: Senior Recognition Sunday

 

For all seniors graduating from high school, Senior Recognition Sunday is a time for you to honored and recognized.  This event consists of a special segment of the 11:15 worship service in the Fellowship Hall with more information coming in a letter this spring.  Information sheets and pictures are due May 11

 

May 21: Fiesta Party!

 

We’re throwing a Fiesta themed party to celebrate the end of a great year of Unleashed and Impact! There will be some Fiesta themed games, as well as dollar dares and prizes from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. Wear your sombrero or poncho to help make this party lively as possible!

 

 

       

On this trip you will be able to serve the poor of inner city Denver, get in the mountains to do so white water rafting and hiking, and grow in your relationship with God.  There is a limited ammount of sports available so get your $100 in ASAP!  Total cost is $400 but students who participated in last year fundraisers on average paid only $175 total to go on the trip.  Be sure to check this life changing trip out!

• Assists an adult guide in leading a small group of junior high students in faith development through friendship, small group discussion, and service time.
• Once a week or every other week commitment, Wednesday nights 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room
• Commitment: September 12, 2007- May 14, 2008

Junior High Band

• Help lead junior high students in sing alongs and worship songs with a musical instrument or vocally.
• Once a week or every other week commitment, Wednesday nights 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room
• Commitment: September 19, 2007- May 14, 2008

Senior High “Impact” Band

• Help lead senior high students in worship with a musical instrument or vocally.
• Once a week or every other week commitment, Wednesday nights 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Sound/Tech Support Team

• Assist in setup and running of sound, lighting, or power point.
• Once a week or every other week commitment, Wednesday nights 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. or Sunday mornings 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room or Fellowship Hall.
