 Worship
Passionate worship is the highlight of the week in both our Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. Some 2000 people regularly praise our God in a style that best reflects their love of the Lord and their commitment to making worship a “24-7” life style, not just a Sunday morning duty.
Fellowship
Community life at First Lutheran has spread to the entire White Bear Lake area. Classes on marriage, finances, child rearing, and addictions attract members and non-members alike. Our cable TV programs reach 1000s more weekly.
Ministry
Hundreds of new servants of the Living God are discerning their gifts, recognizing their callings, receiving training, and then willingly give themselves away for Jesus’ sake. Mission service, both domestic and international, grows yearly. Discipleship
Christ centered teaching has grown well beyond Sunday mornings. Life-long learning is the regular expectation. Eighty percent of our people are in small groups. Over 50 recovery groups help people regain fruitful lives. Christian commitment is our first priority in deed as well as word. Even financial giving regularly exceeds our needs and is shared with other like minded ministries. Evangelism Gracious, non-coerced sharing of the gospel has become a hallmark of this ministry. Twice yearly Alpha sessions are packed with seekers, prospective members, and the soon to be married. Our thriving preschool, day school, Sports Ministry, and concert series all provide welcoming, user friendly entry points into the life of the congregation. As a result, adult baptisms are a common and joyous reality.
Prayer
All ministries are covered in prayer. We have come to learn that prayer is the source of the Holy Spirit’s power and therefore - from cradle to grave - we pray for revival, healing, wisdom, courage, and energy to do God’s will in our world.
